"... to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine... to Him be glory....!
Eph. 3:20 (NIV)
1) We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God and is to be our only guide in faith and practice. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
2) We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, II Cor.13:14)
3) We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, and sinless life (Matthew 1:22-23; John 14:6-11; II Corinthians 5:21)
4) We believe that Christ died for our sins, arose from the dead and is coming again. (Romans 5:6-8; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11)
5) We believe that all people are sinners and are lost apart from Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23)
6) We believe that salvation and eternal life are available to anyone through Jesus Christ. (John 3:16-18; John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8-9)
7) We believe in a living ministry of evangelism and discipleship conducted in Christian love. (Matthew 28:19-20; I Corinthians 13)
As Baptists, we stand for.....
Soul Freedom- Each person must decide for himself to believe or not believe in Jesus
Believer's Baptism - Baptism is a symbol, designed to show the new life that is in us through our faith in Jesus
The Bible is the sole authority for faith and living.
Priesthood of all believers - We are all called and equipped to serve God and to read & understand the Bible
Religious Liberty - No political authority has the power to tell us what to believe or how to worship
Self-governing churches - Each local church body is self-governing, with Jesus as the head
Ministry of the people - Everyone is a "minister". We all have gifts and abilities, and we are all called to use them in God's service.
Evangelism and Discipleship - We are called to help others believe in Jesus, and grow in their faith in our community and our world
What are our denominational connections?
Our church is in fellowship with the American Baptist Churches, USA. Through our denominational relationship, we partner with other local churches to carry out mission and ministry which we could not do by ourselves, including evangelistic outreach in the U.S. and around the world, youth camps, neighborhood centers, and retirement communities. Our church relates to the American Baptist Churches of the Central Region, as well as the ABC / USA. (click on the above links for more information) Our church is “on the record” and does not support the work of the National Council of Churches, nor of the World Council of Churches. Over the past few years, we have been active supporters of several non-denominational ministries, including the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse.
