Today we are pleased to welcome to our worship the members of The Gloryland Quartet.  We will receive a love offering at the end of the service, to support their ongoing ministry and to show our appreciation of their message in music.

Join us next Sunday following morning worship for a brief “town hall” style meeting with our pastor and deacons.  They want to gather your thoughts on the future direction for our youth ministry and the role of associate pastor.   This will not be a business meeting.   It will be brief, but important.

Twenty nurses from St. Luke’s hospital (colleagues of  Jamie
Woodhead) will be traveling next week to Haiti to provide nursing care for folks in Haiti .  They each hope to carry with them 2 suitcases, filled with much needed medical supplies.  If you would like to contribute, you can place donations in the box in the foyer no later than Wednesday,
February. 17.  They need:
Children’s Tylenol Coloring books
Children’s Motrin Crayons
Children’s anti-diarrhea  medicine Soap
Tarps with rope Travel Sewing kits
Rice and beans

Please continue to pray for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. If you would like to contribute to help with rescue and recovery efforts, you may make out a check to First Baptist Church of McLouth and mark the memo line : “Haiti Earthquake Relief.”
