This is the cornerstone of our building......
Jesus is the cornerstone of our lives.

First things first....

Jesus is the reason we exist... We are just regular folks, who have been saved because we have placed our trust in Jesus Christ. Because of the great grace that He has shown us, we want to live our best lives for Him. That's why we are a church. We don't exist for any other reason than to worship, honor, and serve the God who has saved us, and to help others know His saving grace as well.  

YOU CAN MAKE JESUS THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR LIFE...

Here's how you can have a personal relationship with Jesus. This is very important, because He is our only ticket to heaven once we die, and He is our only avenue to a meaningful existance and peace while we are living on this earth. Here's what you need to know:
God loves you
  “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not
  that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10 (NIV)

You have a need
  Fact of sin
  ”…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” Rom 3:23 (NIV)
  Penalty of sin
  “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom 6:23 (NIV)

God has made a special provision for you
   Christ died to pay penalty for our sins
  “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom 5:8 (NIV)
   Salvation is a free gift - for you!
  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not
  condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and
  only Son.” John 3:16-18 NIV
  Christ is the only way to be saved
  “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. “ JN 14:6 (NIV)
   You just cannot earn your way to heaven
  “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no
  one can boast. “ Eph 2:8,9 (NIV)

Your response
  Salvation is promised to you if you will receive Jesus
  “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have
  the Son of God does not have life.” I JN 5:11,12 (NIV)
   We must receive Him
  “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” JN 1:12 (NIV)

How to receive Jesus and be saved
  1) Admit you have a need (I’m a sinner) and tell God you will try to turn from your sins (This is called repentance)
  2) Believe that Jesus died on the cross for you, and then rose to life again
  3) In a simple prayer, ask Jesus to be your Savior and the Lord / boss of your life (receive Jesus as Lord and Savior)
You can do it today - here’s a sample prayer which you might pray to God:
  “Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness.“ I believe that you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now
  invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Saviour. In Jesus’ name, Amen. “
